Ralph Thibodeau is a registered Architect in the State of Texas, and a 1972 graduate of the School of Architecture of the University of Texas at Austin. With a total of forty one years of experience in the field, including the role of Principal of his own firm for thirty three years, from 1980 to 2013, Thibodeau has a very diversified background in the design of Commercial, Institutional, and Health Care facilities, as well as Custom Residential and Multi-Family projects. His multi-disciplined design background and extensive working knowledge of the technical aspects of the construction process, and of construction materials and methods, has enabled his firm to offer complete professional services, from the early planning stages of
a project, to construction observation and contract administration. The firm of Ralph A. Thibodeau, specializes in the design of Veterinary Medical projects. Having designed over sixty five Animal Hospital Facilities, Thibodeau has received numerous design awards from the annual Veterinary Economics Hospital Design Competition, including Hospital of the Year in 1992 for the design of Cove Animal Clinic in Copperas Cove, Texas, and again in 2007 for Atascocita Animal Hospital in Humble, Texas. In addition to Animal Hospital work, the firm has a sub-specialty of Automotive Facility Design, and has designed several international brand Car Dealerships including Mercedes Benz of Austin, Austin Infiniti, First Texas Honda, and Austin Subaru. Thibodeau is a member of the local Texas Chapter, as well as the Texas Society of Architects. He is also accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is licensed in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. The Firm has offices in Austin, Texas and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
